The Latest Sandwich Innovation

As I've mentioned before, I'm often being subjected to "new" things for lunch. The latest is Tabasco Sauce as a sandwich condiment. This is yet another thing that an adult would never think of. It's OK, I guess. I mean, I can't complain. If I did, I'd have to make my own lunches.

I have a friend who puts hot sauce on everything. She puts Tobasco on cereal for crying out loud.

Of course, I also have an uncle - by marriage - who puts Miracle Whip on everything. We're talking about Miracle Whip on such meals as Chinese food.

Personally, I think they are both nuts, but maybe they are really just kids at heart.

When I lived in Austin, Texas, I noticed that Tabasco sauce was as standard as catsup/ketchup in restaurants and cafeterias, and that plenty of people added it to every possible main dish -- green salads, spaghetti, and of course breakfast tacos and burritos.
