I haven't seen it yet, but wouldn't it be a hoot if we discover that Darth Vader is really not Luke Skywalker's father?

I must be one of the approximately three people who have never seen the first two films of the second Star Wars trilogy. I've seen the original Star Wars many times, but I've only seen The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi once each, many years ago (probably close to 20 years ago). I know, I'm not "with it". I wouldn't mind watching the first two films of the second trilogy at some point, but this barely registers on my priority list. In the meantime, I'll leave you with these words -- My, my, this here Anakin guy, maybe Vader some day later, now he's just a small fry. He left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye, saying, "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi..."
Hmm, is there a netiquette rule against blog comments being longer than the original post?
On local Melbourne radio station 3RRR this morning they reviewed the new SW film and came up with an interesting point.
The 'tying together' that occurs in Episode 3 really blows the plot climaxes of the original trilogy. The birth of Luke & Leia spoils the Vader as father plot-twist (in Empire) and the siblings plot-twist (in Jedi).
So their question was what order does Lucas now intend people to watch the films?
To spark a bit of debate, this adds fuel to my (highly controversial) theory that Lucas never originally planned beyond a single film - despite his claims to the contrary. He's making it up as he goes.
